"I suffer from a genetic rheumatic condition in my hips and pelvis which sporadically impedes my ability to walk properly and perform some day to day activities. I stumbled across Robs practice whilst watching a rugby game at Chippenham Rugby Club back in 2004 and have been seeing him on a regular basis ever since. His mix of Sports Therapy and Bowen Technique are ideal as they are non invasive and do not cause inflammation in my joints which exacerbates the condition. Rob continues to give me back a standard of living that I had been unable to find previously from any Physiotherapist. His professionalism and care for his clients shows and the quality of his treatments ensure I return.
Rob has also played a vital role in my road to recover after I dislocate my ankle and fractured my fibula in an unfortunate accident. Due to the severity of the injury my range of motion in my ankle has been severely limited but Robs treatments have ensured I have made the best possible progress.

"I have had lower back pain for some years which was eventually diagnosed as degenerative disc disease. Over the years I have tried various treatments such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture etc I knew that Rob was doing Bowen Technique as I worked with his wife many years ago and we had always kept in touch, so decided to try it. It is a very non-invasive, relaxing treatment and while it has not stopped the pain, it has certainly made it much more manageable. Rob also showed me some exercises to do to complement the Bowen technique.
Incidentally, Bowen has also helped with my asthma and hay fever and has enabled me to cut down on medication for these conditions. It is also a great stress reliever!”

"I went to see Rob with a grade 2 collar bone dislocation, which had been in a sling for 3 weeks. The first appointment Rob decided to use traditional methods of massage and ultrasound to try and create more movement around the shoulder. After this session there was some improvement but nothing significant. On my second visit, after re-assessing the injury Rob decided that he would use the Bowen technique to loosen the muscles in the shoulder. This technique proved to be fantastic and movement around the injured area improved dramatically. Thank you Rob."

"Chippenham RFC has employed Rob Fergusson as their club therapist since season 2002/03 and although his main focus is the 1st XV he has overall responsibility for injuries throughout the Junior and Senior sections of the club. As well as accompanying the 1st XV on match days Rob’s duties include running injury clinics at the clubhouse on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and organising rehabilitation programmes for players.
Rob is passionate about his job and inline with the club values he always puts the health of the player before the needs of the club. He goes about his duties in a courteous and professional manner and is now considered to be a key component of our club infrastructure."
